Summer Team Building Day 2008
Our annual team building day saw all team members participating in a day trip to the Lake District...
What a great day it was – even the sun shone for us!
On board coach entertainment was provided by Management Team Member Katherine and Dentist Gary Stacey organised a general knowledge quiz. Mr Stacey certainly succeeded in exercising our brains that day! Well done to team members Beverley and Diane who took first prize in Gary’s quiz challenge.
The team arrived at their destination faced by a mammoth assault course. Some of the staff really faced their fear of heights as their climbed, balanced and swung through trees. Everyone took a deep breath and made it to the finish line as they were cheered along by their fellow team members...
The activities did not stop there...
The team raced against each other on Lake Derwent Water in a fun boat race.
We were convinced that winning team captain Michael Oliver had a quiet word with the referee to allow his team to win prior to the race!!
Afterwards the team relaxed at the Lordore Falls Hotel and laughed and chatted about their achievements with a fantastic lunch and drinks on the lawn.
Everyone returned to the studio challenged and uplifted what a great day!
