Gillian Gaffney

Practice Manager

Born and raised in East Herrington, Gillian joined the Studio in 1984 as a young school leaver. Having a wealth of experience in all aspects of her role Gillian has held her position as Manager for the Studio for as long as she can remember!

Over the years Gillian is proud to have seen and be part of the many developments that have made the Studio what it is today. Her role is forever energised by the fantastic team she feels privileged to work with.

Enjoying all aspects of her role she particularly enjoys personnel management and values the many patients she has had the pleasure to care for, many of whom have become personal friends.

Away from the Studio Gillian is married to Graham and they have a son Nathan who is now in his first year at comprehensive school.

Gillian enjoys spending her weekends watching the latest blockbuster at the movies and is looking forward to see Michael Buble live at Newcastle Area.

A trip to New York in 2006 is Gillian’s claim to fame. Star struck to witness Tilda Swinton filming movie scenes for “Michael Clayton” on the streets of Manhattan wasn’t enough – Gillian was then amazed to see Catherine Zeta Jones filming for her forthcoming movie “ No Reservations”. Unfortunately on both occasions Gillian was not asked to appear as an extra. Never mind, God loves a trier!
